Our Texas Tornado turns 3!

If you don't know but my dad nicknamed K1 as his "Texas Tornado". She has lived up to the nickname :) Words can't express how much we love K1! She brought so much love, hope and brightness into our lives. We are so thankful to K1's birthmother and for the courageous act she did. I remember the last day we saw K1's birthmother...as she said goodbye to K1 and left her with us. She was crying uncontrollably and was trying so hard to be brave. My heart ached for her and for the loss she would feel. It was nice to hear from her 1 year later that she knows she made the right choice and loves us! That means so much to us. We hold those memories close to our hearts. Quinn loves talking about those days and the time we spent in Texas and for K1's adoption experience. We love K1's birthmother will all our hearts!

We were able to celebrate K1's b-day in Idaho with family. She had a lot of fun with her cousins, aunts, uncles and grandmas.



K1's favorite things:
Her sister: she loves to take care of K2 and be her big sister.
Dancing: she loves to dance and sing
Dresses: she would love to wear a dress everyday! She loves to dress up from shoes to necklaces.
Color: Pink..pink and more pink
Loves things to be clean and organized. She loves helping around the house. It's nice!!!
Cooking: She loves to help make cookies
Animals: Dogs...she loves our dogs especially Molly.
Movie: Lilo & Stitch and Care Bears

We love you K1 and we are so blessed to have you in our lives!
